This product is a brand of podophyllotoxin. The medication comes as a solution and is used to treat genital warts, which are often caused by human papilloma virus (HPV). Designed to be applied directly to the warts themselves, it functions by attacking wart cells and stopping them from developing into larger numbers and spreading. Eventually, this allows for healthy tissue to emerge in the place of wart cells as they die.

The solution is applied twice a day for three days. A prescriber may give instructions to repeat this process the following week, and again for up to five weeks.
