Micronor

Micronor is a birth control treatment produced by Janssen-Cilag Ltd. It contains norethisterone, a common ingredient used in contraceptive treatments, which acts in a similar way to the naturally occurring hormone progesterone. Norethisterone works by thickening vaginal fluid, making it harder for sperm to travel inside the womb and reach an egg, and also by altering the lining of the uterus, making conditions harder for an egg to develop.

This treatment has very specific application instructions which must be followed carefully. As with any hormonal contraceptive, this product does not provide 100 per cent guaranteed protection against pregnancy. You should always consider using barrier contraceptives, such as condoms, as an additional precautionary measure.

You can buy Micronor from Express Doctor. We work with a fully registered UK pharmacy and offer a secure and confidential online consultation service.
