Dianette
Dianette is an effective acne and hirsutism treatment for women. It contains the agents cyproterone acetate and ethinylestradiol.
Acne and excess facial hair in women is often caused by high testosterone levels. The agents in this treatment work by mimicking natural hormones found in the body, oestrogen and progesterone, to counter the effects of testosterone. Please note that this medication is only used to treat acne in cases where antibiotics have not succeeded.
While it should not be used for the sole purpose of birth control, this medication is an effective contraceptive and can be used for this purpose by women suffering from acne or hirsutism. But please note that it should not be used in addition to other hormonal contraceptives. As with any hormonal contraceptive, this product does not provide 100 per cent guaranteed protection against pregnancy. You should always consider using barrier contraceptives, such as condoms, as an additional precautionary measure.
Acne and excess hair can be difficult to approach your doctor about in person, which is why we at Express Doctor offer a confidential online service. To buy Dianette from a UK registered pharmacy, click below to proceed to our consultation process.
